Describe a panel, then check and create it on the iMIS site in this tab. v

1Panel

The panel name becomes the panel source name too. Use a ZZ_ name for tests.

Letters, numbers, underscores. No spaces.
What staff see as the panel title.
Authenticated Users can:
Same as the Authenticated Users row on the source's Security tab. Leave these off unless logged-in website users (such as members) need to see or edit this data. SysAdmin and Staff already get full access.

Paste fields from Excel

Copy rows from Panel_Fields_Template.xlsx (or any sheet with the columns PropertyName, Type, Length, Scale, Prompt, Required, DefaultValue) and paste here. The header row is optional. Pasted rows are added after the existing ones.

3Create in iMIS

What does Check do?

Check only reads your iMIS site. Nothing is changed. It confirms you're logged in as staff on this tab, makes sure no panel or panel source already uses this name, and lists exactly what will be created.

Why it's required: Create panel only unlocks after a check passes, for this site and this exact form. That way you can't create over an existing panel, or on the wrong site, by accident. If you change anything after checking, check again.
